Key Responsibilities
  • Perform comprehensive mental health assessments to identify patient needs, collaboratively developing effective and personalized treatment plans.
  • Deliver evidence-based therapeutic interventions utilizing modalities like cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and solution-focused therapy, tailored to individuals, couples, and families.
  • Facilitate psychoeducational and support groups to address various mental health issues, fostering a sense of community among participants.
  • Work closely with psychiatrists, psychologists, and multidisciplinary team members to coordinate comprehensive patient care.
  • Provide crisis intervention services, ensuring prompt support to individuals experiencing mental health emergencies.
  • Educate patients regarding their mental health conditions, treatment options, and surrounding community resources available for additional support.
  • Maintain accurate and confidential client documentation, adhering to legal and ethical standards.
  • Engage actively in case consultations and weekly team meetings, contributing your insights to improve overall service delivery and outcomes.
  • Keep abreast of the latest mental health research and advancements through continuing education and professional development initiatives.
Patient Population / Client Focus

You will work with a broad range of clients, including individuals struggling with acute and chronic mental health challenges, families seeking counseling support, and couples in need of therapeutic intervention. Our multi-faceted approach allows us to tailor services to children, adolescents, and adults, thereby promoting a healthier and more fulfilled community.

Qualifications
  • A Master’s or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution is required.
  • Current and valid licensure as an LMFT, LPC, or LCSW in the state of Georgia.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of mental health disorders, evidence-based treatment modalities, and therapeutic methodologies.
  • Proven experience conducting comprehensive assessments and developing effective treatment strategies.
  • Experience delivering individual and group therapy to diverse populations.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, facilitating rapport with clients and colleagues alike.
  • Strong judgment, ethical integrity, and professionalism in maintaining boundaries.
  • Proficient in electronic health record systems and other relevant computer applications.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team structure.
Preferred Experience
  • Experience working in an outpatient mental health setting is preferred.
  • Familiarity with community resources and referral networks beneficial for patient support.
  • Previous involvement in crisis intervention and emergency mental health response is advantageous.
Compensation and Benefits

This position offers a competitive salary range between USD 80,000 to 100,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
