The Opportunity:
Your combination of people skills and technical expertise makes you the team hero, solving one problem after another. As a database administrator with an understanding of the Nlyte Neo DCIM IS, you will perform collecting, cleaning, and ingesting data center and related equipment and cabling information for multiple data centers into a Data Center Information Management System. You will prepare enterprise data analytic reports and dashboards for visualization of Power, Space, Cooling, and Cabinet utilization significantly reducing risk for both outages and deployment, enabling enterprise data center portfolio management. You know how to manage and secure database technology and capable of understanding industry and evolving data center requirements. At Booz Allen, you can use those skills to improve enterprise data center management and governance supporting integrated combat operations. You'll use technology and tools like Nlyte Neo to identify problem areas and opportunities for improvement in a mission-critical database.
In this role, you'll closely impact integrated warfighting operations by enabling a reliable and valuable enterprise common operating picture. With your technical expertise, mentoring, and opportunities to learn new tools and skills, we'll focus on growing as a team to make the best solutions for our customers.

You Have:
  • 5+ years of experience with data center database development, building, maintaining, and administering database systems using a DCIM IS, writing scripts, reports, and dashboards, and building complex views
  • Experience with Nlyte, Nlyte Energy Optimizer (NEO), or Nlyte Asset Optimizer (NAO)
  • Experience assisting with software releases and working collaboratively with analysts and application developers
  • Experience designing and implementing end-to-end data solutions leveraging cloud services
  • Experience documenting technical designs, procedures, and guidelines for data engineering processes
  • Knowledge of conducting performance tuning and optimization of data processing workflows, reports, and dashboards
  • TS/SCI clearance
  • Bachelor's degree
  • Information Assurance Technical (IAT) Level II Certification
    Nice If You Have:
    • Experience supporting data visualization through Power BI
    • Ability to collaborate with other analysts to deploy machine learning models and enable advanced analytics
    • Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
    • Cloud Services related Data Engineer Associate or Certified Solutions Architect Expert Certification
    • Security+ or CISSP Certification

    Clearance:

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $86,800.00 to $198,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees.
