Project Scope:
The consultants will be responsible for transitioning legacy systems (OPEN, MS Access, Mainframe) into Goldkey, ensuring data integrity and validation through the migration process. Their expertise is crucial for embedding permitting imperatives and Surface Review regulations workflows, optimizing the Building Permit process, and implementing automated permitting & drainage workflows. They will also facilitate compliance with impervious surface review regulations, environmental and historical preservation requirements, and municipal sewer extension permits.
Roles/Responsibilities:
  1. C# - Proficient in object-oriented programming (OOP), .NET framework, debugging, and writing clean, maintainable code.
  2. JavaScript & jQuery - Strong grasp of core JavaScript concepts, DOM manipulation, asynchronous programming, and AJAX for dynamic web interactions.
  3. Oracle & SQL - Expertise in PL/SQL, query optimization, writing efficient queries, stored procedures, and database normalization.
  4. MVC Framework - Ability to implement MVC architecture, routing, and security best practices to streamline development workflows.
  5. Windows & Web Services - Experience with Windows application development, REST/SOAP APIs, and authentication mechanisms for secure system integrations.
  6. SSIS & SSRS - Deep understanding, designing, deploying, and integrating reports in SSRS for efficient data reporting in SSIS.
  7. Experience with Large-Scale Systems - Practical knowledge of modernizing and integrating multiple applications, supporting county-wide permitting and review processes, and migrating legacy systems (PEN, MS Access, Mainframe) to modern workflows.
  8. Customer-Facing Applications - Ability to work with automated submissions, workflows, invoicing, tracking, and ECM integration for enhanced operational efficiency.
  9. Strong/Communication & Collaboration Skills - Attention to detail, proficiency in written/verbal communication and analysis with vendors. - coordinate with cross-functional teams
