This position requires the candidate to reside on the West Coast of the United States, with Southern California preferred.
The Opportunity
As a Motorcycle/Bicycle Account Manager (2Wheel) for Michelin's Recreational Products portfolio, you'll represent our motorcycle and bicycle brands across an assigned territory. You'll partner with dealers and customer representatives to strengthen relationships, identify growth opportunities, increase sales, and deliver outstanding customer support while serving as a trusted brand ambassador.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
  • Manage accounts of all sizes by representing your team externally with clients and internally by working with various stakeholders.
  • Develop a thorough understanding of clients' positions in the market, their products/services, points of difference, and competitive landscape.
  • Capture, manage, and respond to customer requests and claims.
  • Establish and build strong working relationships with business leaders at all levels.
  • Manage day-to-day client communication and ongoing relationships as they relate to current, new, and upcoming projects, including business reviews.
  • Prepare and present sales information and effective proposals to customers during renewals or for new initiatives.
  • As necessary, visit clients and attend trade shows and other industry events to capitalize on networking and relationship-building opportunities.
  • Proactively remain connected to clients and the constantly evolving market to identify new opportunities and ensure all viable clients are engaged on a regular and effective basis.
  • Develop and generate new leads by monitoring trends, conducting research, identifying opportunities, cold calling, and making appointments.

WHAT YOU WILL YOU BRING
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
