Job description

Small Employer Benefits Decision-Makers Survey – Health Insurance Purchasing Insights

$56 / one-time

Contract Remote (United States) Early applicant

Mercor is conducting a paid research study in collaboration with a leading AI research lab focused on improving healthcare and member experiences. We are seeking health insurance decision-makers at small and mid-sized employers (1–200 employees in the U.S.) to take part in a short online survey about how their organization chooses, funds, and manages employee health insurance. Insights gathered will help inform the development of AI tools designed to improve how employers and health plans deliver benefits to employees.

Responsibilities
  • Complete a structured ~25-minute online survey
  • Share perspectives on how health insurance decisions get made, plan and carrier selection, funding arrangements, and day-to-day benefits administration
  • Submit all responses within the given timeline
Requirements
  • Hold a role in your organization's health insurance decision — you make the final decision, you decide jointly with one or two other people, or you gather the options and make a recommendation that someone else signs off
  • Current title such as Owner, CEO, or President, CFO, Controller, or Head of Finance, HR Director or HR Manager, Office Manager or Operations lead with benefits as part of the job, Benefits or Total Rewards specialist, or Executive Assistant or Administrator
  • Work for a private sector business, a non-profit organization, a public sector employer (local government, school district, or municipality), or a provider, medical practice, or health system
  • Your organization has 200 or fewer employees in the United States
  • Your organization offers health insurance to employees — a group health plan you buy directly, coverage through a PEO, or money for employees to buy their own coverage (ICHRA or a stipend)
  • Based in the United States
  • Able to independently complete a ~25-minute online survey

Please note: employees of health plans or health insurers, insurance brokers or benefits advisors, and pharmacy benefit managers (PBMs) are not eligible for this study.

Engagement Details
  • Format: Online survey
  • Duration: Approximately 25 minutes
  • Compensation: One-time payment upon successful verification of the submission
  • Location: Remote (United States)
Why Participate
  • Contribute to research shaping the next generation of healthcare AI tools
  • Share your real-world experience choosing and managing health insurance for a smaller employer

We consider all qualified applicants without regard to legally protected characteristics and provide reasonable accommodations upon request.
