Job description

Wanna join the adventure?

At Loft, we’re building the infrastructure that makes space simple. We enable customers to deploy missions faster and more reliably than ever before. The Creative Studio team shapes how Loft’s brand is seen and experienced internally and externally.

We’re looking for a Senior Brand Designer to join our small team and work across many brand touchpoints, from marketing campaigns to motion, video, web, presentations, events, and print.

As a high level IC you’ll partner closely with the Creative Director and collaborate with teams across the company. We move quickly and support a wide range of projects, so we value clear communication, adaptability, and designers who take ownership and help move work forward.

This role is a great fit for someone who would like to own projects end-to-end, enjoys managing stakeholders, and designing across multiple mediums while contributing to brand growth.

About this role:1. Brand Design

Design within and help evolve Loft’s brand system under the direction of the Creative Director, producing high-quality assets across digital and print, motion and static. 70% of the role focuses on brand design, while the remaining will support motion or video work to help expand an important capability within the team.

2. Project Ownership + Collaboration

Lead creative projects from concept through delivery, translating briefs into strong design solutions while guiding timelines, stakeholders, and feedback. Act as a trusted partner to cross-functional teams, proactively clarifying needs, aligning expectations, and helping drive projects forward to ensure design solutions support shared goals

Our team handles a high volume of work across many partners located in several different timezones. The right candidate is organized, proactive, and comfortable doing and guiding while remaining flexible, approachable, and open to feedback. Occasional travel to Loft offices will be needed for projects and offsite meetings.

3. The Creative Studio Team

You’ll be the third member of the Creative Studio. We support each other through open communication across timezones, and work to craft a consistent, compelling visual identity that represents Loft’s brand personality which is: bold, smart, vibrant and positive.

Must Haves:
  • 10+ years of experience in brand, visual, or marketing design across digital and physical formats
  • Strong portfolio showing brand systems plus motion and/or video work
  • Strong typography, layout, and visual communication skills
  • Expertise in Adobe Creative Cloud and Figma, with openness to additional tools like Canva, AI, and others as needed
  • Ability to own and manage several projects at one time, and end-to-end
  • Clear communication, ability to move through ambiguity and stakeholder management skills
  • Experience managing vendors and external partners to deliver creative work
Nice to Haves:

  • Product marketing or technical storytelling

  • Logistics or budgeting for events and global marketing initiatives
Some of Our Awesome Benefits:

State law requires us to tell you the base compensation range for this role, which is $100,000- $130,000 per year. This is determined by your education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities.  The salary range for this role is intentionally wide as we evaluate individuals based on their unique experience and abilities to fit our needs. Most importantly, we are excited to meet you, and see if you are a great fit for our team. What we can’t quantify for you are the exciting challenges, supportive team, and amazing culture we enjoy.
*Research shows that while men apply to jobs where they meet an average of 60% of the criteria, women and other underrepresented people tend to only apply when they meet 100% of the qualifications. At Loft, we value respectful debate and people who aren’t afraid to challenge assumptions.  We strongly encourage you to apply, even if you don’t check all the boxes.
