Motion in Mind Counseling Center is actively seeking a compassionate and experienced Licensed Mental Health Counselor to enhance our remote practice. In this full-time role, you will engage with clients to assess their mental health needs, design individualized therapeutic interventions, and monitor their progress. You'll be integral in helping clients navigate challenges such as anxiety, depression, substance abuse, and other mental health disorders, fostering an environment of trust and support.

This remote position allows for flexibility while working in a community-focused setting. Our clinicians benefit from an established online framework, using secure telehealth portals to connect with clients. • Conduct comprehensive assessments of clients' mental health statuses through detailed interviews, psychological evaluations, and the review of historical information.
• Develop and implement tailored treatment plans that address individual client needs, utilizing evidence-based approaches.
• Facilitate regular therapy sessions, offering support, techniques, and strategies to help clients achieve their goals and enhance their coping skills.
• Maintain meticulous records of client sessions and treatment plans in adherence to ethical standards, utilizing electronic health record (EHR) systems proficiently.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including psychiatrists, to coordinate care and refer clients to additional services as necessary.

This diversity demands cultural competence, understanding, and adaptive therapeutic strategies to meet each client's unique context and requirements.

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Psychology, or a related field from an accredited institution.
• A current and valid license as a Mental Health Counselor (LMFT, LPC, LCSW) in Virginia.
• A minimum of four years of professional experience in a mental health setting with demonstrated clinical expertise.
• Knowledge of various therapeutic modalities and a commitment to employing culturally competent intervention strategies.
• Ability to perform crisis intervention when necessary, ensuring patient safety and support during critical situations.

• Experience with both individual and group therapy settings, ensuring a responsive and inclusive treatment environment.
• Proven ability to utilize EHR systems and other technological tools to enhance therapy delivery and maintain patient confidentiality.
• Solid understanding of mental health regulations and ethical guidelines impacting practice and patient care.

The compensation package for this position ranges from USD 70,000 to 100,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications. In addition, we offer a comprehensive benefits package that includes:
