What is remote mosquito vector control?

Remote mosquito vector control refers to the use of technology and remote monitoring systems to manage and reduce mosquito populations that can transmit diseases like malaria, dengue, and Zika. This approach often involves using drones, sensors, and data analytics to detect breeding sites, monitor mosquito activity, and deploy targeted interventions such as larvicides or insecticides. Remote control methods help increase efficiency, reduce human exposure to hazardous chemicals, and allow for real-time data collection and response. The goal is to prevent disease outbreaks by interrupting the mosquito life cycle and minimizing their contact with humans.
