• Conduct individualized counseling sessions with clients via secure telehealth platforms, employing active listening and strategic questioning to delve into their mental health concerns.
• Perform comprehensive assessments that draw on recognized psychological frameworks to accurately evaluate clients’ presenting issues and develop personalized treatment plans.
• Implement evidence-based therapeutic techniques, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), to guide clients in managing their symptoms and improving their overall mental health.
• Foster self-awareness in clients by empowering them to explore their feelings, thoughts, and behaviors, guiding them in cultivating coping strategies that promote resilience.

In this role, you will work with a diverse population comprising individuals from various backgrounds, ages, and socio-economic statuses. Your clients may present with a range of mental health issues, including anxiety disorders, depression, trauma, and relationship challenges. The nature of remote counseling will allow you to easily connect with clients who may face barriers to traditional therapy, such as transportation issues or geographical limitations.

• A master’s or doctoral degree in counseling, psychology, social work, or a closely related field.
• Current licensure or eligibility for licensure as a mental health counselor (LPCC, LCSW, LMFT) in your state of residence.
