Ria Health, recognized as the leading national telehealth provider specializing in alcohol use disorder (AUD) treatment, recently raised $12.5 million through a Series B financing led by Peloton Equity.  Our existing investors SV Health, BPEA and SOSV also participated in the Series B.  Ria Health will enable patients to achieve long term success in reducing or eliminating  their alcohol consumption, and live healthier and happier lives. We are seeking a Psychologist to join our rapidly growing team. Ria Health, recognized as the leading national telehealth provider specializing in alcohol use disorder (AUD) treatment, recently raised $18 million in Series A led by SV Health Investors, LLC.  The investment will further the momentum of commercial partnerships that include regional and national health plans, including Anthem Blue Cross Blue Shield, UnitedHealth Group Optum,  Beacon Health Options, Highmark Health, and Magellan Health.

ROLE OVERVIEW

Ria Health is seeking a full-time Licensed Psychologist with PSYPACT authority to provide telepsychology services within our virtual care model.

This role is fully remote and embedded within a collaborative, interdisciplinary care team. The psychologist will deliver evidence-based psychotherapy, support patient outcomes, and contribute to a high-quality, patient-centered care experience.

CA license preferred but not required.
REQUIREMENTS
  • Licensed Clinical Psychologist (PhD or PsyD) at the independent practice level

  • Active PSYPACT authorization to practice telepsychology across participating states (E.Passport required)

  • 3–5+ years of experience delivering evidence-based psychotherapy (CBT, MI, trauma-informed care)

  • Experience treating alcohol use disorder, depression, and anxiety

  • Experience working with older adults (65+) and individuals with co-occurring medical conditions preferred

  • Experience with Medicare/Medicaid populations preferred

  • Strong comfort with telehealth platforms, EMR systems, and virtual care delivery

  • Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team environment

PRINCIPAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Conduct psychological and psychosocial assessments

  • Develop, implement, and adjust individualized treatment plans

  • Deliver evidence-based psychotherapy for AUD and co-occurring conditions

  • Lead the psychological aspects of patient care within an interdisciplinary team

  • Coordinate care internally and with external providers

  • Conduct risk assessments and provide crisis intervention as needed

  • Monitor patient progress and adjust care plans accordingly

  • Participate in weekly case review rounds and team meetings

  • Maintain timely and accurate clinical documentation

  • Ensure compliance with clinical, regulatory, and company standards

  • Communicate with patients via phone, secure messaging, and video

  • Support patient engagement and continuity of care

  • Collaborate with clinical, product, and coaching teams

  • Participate in training and ongoing professional development

  • Maintain compliance with HIPAA, CFR 42 Part 2, and all applicable regulations
