Unlike traditional monitors who travel to physical locations, remote monitors leverage technology to review documents, conduct virtual meetings, and monitor patient data. Their role is essential for maintaining the integrity of clinical studies while reducing travel and increasing efficiency. Remote monitoring is especially valuable for decentralized or multi-site trials.
