To thrive as a Remote Monitor, you need a strong background in data analysis, attention to detail, and relevant industry knowledge, often supported by a bachelor’s degree in a science or healthcare-related field. Familiarity with clinical trial management systems (CTMS), electronic data capture (EDC) tools, and possibly certifications like ACRP or SOCRA are typically required. Remote Monitors often face challenges such as coordinating across different time zones, maintaining clear communication with on-site teams, and ensuring data integrity when working remotely. To address these challenges, it's important to establish regular virtual check-ins, utilize collaborative project management tools, and follow strict documentation protocols. Building strong relationships with site staff and staying adaptable to technology updates can also help Remote Monitors succeed in their role.

To become a remote monitor, typically you need relevant experience in the industry, strong attention to detail, and proficiency with monitoring tools or software. Some roles may require certifications or training in specific areas, and good communication skills are essential for remote work environments.

What is a remote monitor?

Remote monitors are professionals who oversee clinical trials or site activities from a distance, typically using digital tools to ensure research compliance, data accuracy, and regulatory standards are met. Unlike traditional monitors who travel to physical locations, remote monitors leverage technology to review documents, conduct virtual meetings, and monitor patient data. Their role is essential for maintaining the integrity of clinical studies while reducing travel and increasing efficiency. Remote monitoring is especially valuable for decentralized or multi-site trials.

Job description

Overview
Corporate Tools is looking to hire an Ad Buyer, Facebook. This is a full time remote position, but if you're near one of our local offices, you're welcome to come hangout with us in-office as well. Our main offices are in Post Falls, ID, and Spokane, WA; we also have satellite offices in Austin, TX, and Salt Lake City, UT. You'll be working 40 hours a week and, of course, enjoy great company benefits.
Do you dream in ads? (That would be pretty cool) If you do, or everything you see is an ad or could be an amazing ad we'd like to pick your brain. We know the technical jargon, and we'll definitely talk about it, but our ideas don't always come from those books. Do you like that approach? Some may not call it a real approach, but it's what we do and we're going on this journey, do you want to join us?
As an Ad Buyer you'll understand our target audience, do market research, set up ad campaigns, collaborate with our team that is going to bring the volume, monitor the performance of ads and many other things that an Ad Buyer does. We offer quite the experience, it's an evolving process, want to evolve with us?
Wage
Up to $65,000
Benefits
  • 100% employer-paid medical, dental and vision for employees
  • Annual review with raise option
  • 22 days Paid Time Off accrued annually, and 4 holidays

  • Open concept office with friendly coworkers
  • Creative environment where you can make a difference
  • No dumb benefits like free dog walking on the weekends that snobby hipster places have to make you feel cool, but mathematically won't cost the company much money because you won't use it

Responsibilities
  • Create compelling ad copy working with our marketing teams to make it pop
  • Use data, tools, and your noggin to identify target audiences
