As a Remote Licensed Professional Counselor, you will operate within a fully remote setting, allowing you to work from the comfort of your own home in Newport News, Virginia, or anywhere else you choose. In your role as a Licensed Professional Counselor, you will:

• Provide ethical and compassionate individual mental health counseling through video consultations.
• Utilize solution-based treatment modalities to guide clients towards their personal goals.
• Develop comprehensive and individualized treatment plans that address each client's unique needs and circumstances.
• Facilitate discussions that help clients gain insight into their experiences, emotions, and relationships.
• Monitor client progress throughout the treatment process, adjusting strategies as necessary to promote healthy coping mechanisms.
• Engage in ongoing professional development to refine your therapeutic skills and approaches.

Your primary focus will be on providing care to stable, low-acuity adults who represent a broad spectrum of mental health issues, including anxiety, depression, and stress management. The ideal candidate for this position must possess:

• A Master’s degree or higher in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology.
• A valid and unrestricted Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) certification.
• The ability to practice independently without the need for supervision.
• No disciplinary actions or ethical concerns associated with their professional license.
• Exceptional interpersonal skills, along with a compassionate and empathetic demeanor.
• Proficiency in using technology and digital platforms for counseling services.

While the above qualifications are essential, we also encourage individuals with the following experiences to apply:

• Experience working within a remote or telehealth setting.
• Familiarity with solution-focused therapy techniques.
• Experience working with diverse populations and addressing varying mental health concerns.

This position offers a competitive salary range of USD 90,000 to 104,000 annually, depending on the hours worked and experience level. Additionally, we provide:
