What is a Remote Monday Friday RN?

A Remote Monday Friday RN is a registered nurse who works remotely, typically from home, and is scheduled to work Monday through Friday. These positions often involve tasks like telehealth consultations, case management, triage, patient education, and care coordination, rather than direct bedside care. Remote RNs use technology to communicate with patients, healthcare teams, and insurance companies. This role allows for a more predictable work schedule and is ideal for nurses seeking work-life balance.

What are the key skills and qualifications needed to thrive as a Remote Monday Friday RN, and why are they important?

To thrive as a Remote Monday–Friday RN, you need an active RN license, strong clinical assessment skills, and experience in telehealth or case management. Familiarity with telemedicine platforms, EHR systems, and secure communication tools is typically required. Outstanding time management, self-motivation, and excellent virtual communication are essential soft skills for success in a remote work environment. These abilities ensure that patient care remains effective, compliant, and responsive even when delivered outside of traditional healthcare settings.

Personal Evolution Therapy invites you to bring your expertise to our innovative detox center in Sparks, Nevada. In this full-time, remote position, you will play a crucial role in enhancing the well-being of our clients and their families through personalized care and support.

About the Organization

Personal Evolution Therapy is a community-focused organization committed to fostering recovery through compassionate and effective mental health and addiction services. Located in Sparks, Nevada, our detox center is dedicated to providing a safe, nurturing environment for individuals embarking on their journey to recovery. With a strong emphasis on integrative and holistic approaches, we strive to empower clients to reclaim their lives and achieve lasting change.

Work Environment

This position allows you to work in a fully remote setting, giving you the flexibility to balance your professional responsibilities while focusing on the mental health needs of your clients. Your core working hours will be Monday through Friday, from 9 AM to 5 PM, ensuring a supportive work-life balance. Although remote, you will be an integral part of a collaborative team that values communication, cooperation, and shared goals.

Key Responsibilities

As an LCSW at Personal Evolution Therapy, you will engage in various critical tasks, including:

  • Conducting comprehensive client assessments to identify their mental health and substance use needs, employing evidence-based evaluation methodologies.
  • Developing, implementing, and monitoring individualized treatment plans in collaboration with interdisciplinary teams, including counselors, psychologists, and medical professionals.
  • Providing counseling and therapeutic interventions, utilizing techniques such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and motivational interviewing to foster positive client outcomes.
  • Equipping clients and their families with valuable resources, coping strategies, and tools necessary for navigating the complexities of recovery and mental health maintenance.
  • Participating in team meetings and case conferences to discuss client progress, update treatment plans, and share insights to enhance service delivery.
  • Staying abreast of best practices in mental health care and making recommendations for program improvements to elevate the quality of care provided to clients.
Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will primarily work with individuals seeking support for substance use disorders and co-occurring mental health issues, especially those in the detoxification phase. Your expertise will be essential in addressing the unique challenges faced by clients, particularly as they include older adult populations who may present with complex needs requiring sensitive and tailored interventions.

Qualifications

To qualify for this position, candidates should possess the following:

  • A Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited program.
  • An active LCSW license in the state of Nevada.
  • Solid experience with assessments, treatment planning, and providing therapeutic interventions.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, demonstrating an ability to engage effectively with clients, families, and team members.
Preferred Experience

While a minimum of two years of relevant experience is required, preference will be given to candidates who have:

  • Experience working with older adult populations, particularly in mental health and substance use contexts.
  • Strong familiarity with digital communication tools and electronic health record (EHR) systems to facilitate remote therapy sessions and documentation.
  • A background in implementing trauma-informed care practices and methodologies.
Compensation and Benefits

The annual salary for this position ranges from USD 115,000 to 120,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications. In addition, we offer a comprehensive benefits package that includes:

  • Full health, dental, and vision insurance coverage to support your wellness needs.
  • An employer-matched 401(k) retirement plan to help secure your financial future.
  • Lifelong learning opportunities, including ongoing training and development programs.
  • A life insurance policy for peace of mind.

At Personal Evolution Therapy, we believe in investing in our team. You will have access to continuous professional development opportunities and mentorship programs geared towards advancing your skills and career potential in clinical social work. There are pathways for specialization in areas such as geriatric social work or dual diagnosis treatment, allowing you to further expand your clinical expertise.
