This position allows you to work in a fully remote setting, giving you the flexibility to balance your professional responsibilities while focusing on the mental health needs of your clients. Your core working hours will be Monday through Friday, from 9 AM to 5 PM, ensuring a supportive work-life balance. As an LCSW at Personal Evolution Therapy, you will engage in various critical tasks, including:

• Conducting comprehensive client assessments to identify their mental health and substance use needs, employing evidence-based evaluation methodologies.
• Developing, implementing, and monitoring individualized treatment plans in collaboration with interdisciplinary teams, including counselors, psychologists, and medical professionals.
• Providing counseling and therapeutic interventions, utilizing techniques such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and motivational interviewing to foster positive client outcomes.
• Equipping clients and their families with valuable resources, coping strategies, and tools necessary for navigating the complexities of recovery and mental health maintenance.
• Participating in team meetings and case conferences to discuss client progress, update treatment plans, and share insights to enhance service delivery.
• Staying abreast of best practices in mental health care and making recommendations for program improvements to elevate the quality of care provided to clients.

In this role, you will primarily work with individuals seeking support for substance use disorders and co-occurring mental health issues, especially those in the detoxification phase. Your expertise will be essential in addressing the unique challenges faced by clients, particularly as they include older adult populations who may present with complex needs requiring sensitive and tailored interventions.

To qualify for this position, candidates should possess the following:

• A Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited program.
• An active LCSW license in the state of Nevada.
• Solid experience with assessments, treatment planning, and providing therapeutic interventions.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, demonstrating an ability to engage effectively with clients, families, and team members.

While a minimum of two years of relevant experience is required, preference will be given to candidates who have:

• Experience working with older adult populations, particularly in mental health and substance use contexts.
• Strong familiarity with digital communication tools and electronic health record (EHR) systems to facilitate remote therapy sessions and documentation.
• A background in implementing trauma-informed care practices and methodologies.
