What does a remote moderator do?
As a remote moderator, you work from home to moderate the content of a message board, chat room, or another platform where users post and upload content. Remote moderators are frequently responsible for interpreting and enforcing the rules of a given setting, which may include deleting content, silencing speakers who break discussion rules, or directing people to remain on-topic. Job description
Our search process is thorough and is designed to streamline our clients' recruiting efforts.
We begin by learning as much as we can about our client's organization. Our understanding must span company history, environment, organizational structure, and specific team culture. When screening candidates, we determine how each prospect will fit into that structure in addition to possessing the appropriate skill set to excel in a specific job opportunity.
We often cover most, if not all, functional areas within an organization, which allows us to gain a full understanding of all aspects of a company.
Using our expansive network and technology systems to source candidates, we conduct a thorough vetting process and present a qualified shortlist to our clients. Each candidate's profile is accompanied by a first-hand written description on their professional accomplishments, work history, stylistic qualities, and reasons for potential fit in your organization.
Title: Senior User Experience Researcher
Location: Eagan, MN
Duration: 5 Month
We're looking for a User Experience Researcher to help us partner with our customers in developing desktop and mobile applications for professionals in the legal industry.
The person in this dedicated role will work closely with local and remote teammates in user experience, product development, and technology teams. Research projects will take place with external legal firms working in Partnership Programs with Client and other external customers.
The candidate should have demonstrated success in research facilitation as well as comfort in the role of research observer and note taker.
This is not a designer role; it is a role focusing on leading and executing design and usability research. However, experience with interaction design principles, tools, and techniques is important both for communication with the internal team and articulating issues to stakeholders. The successful candidate will be comfortable in a fast-paced environment where research studies will be executed on a weekly basis.
Candidates should have a broad knowledge and experience with a wide variety of research methods, both qualitative and quantitative, including:
Think Aloud usability studies
Heuristic Evaluations
Contextual Inquiries
Remote Usability Testing
Parallel Prototyping
Persona Development
Card Sorting
A/B Testing
Un-moderated Feedback (example: Usabilla)
Other User-Centered Design (UCD) methods
Candidates should be able to:
Quickly synthesize business objectives and customer needs
Develop a UX research approach, schedule, and detailed test plan
Plan, recruit, script, facilitate, collect, analyze, and document usability data
Identify and articulate potential usability issues both verbally and through documentation
Transform the data into prioritized, actionable recommendations (within a SHORT turn-around time)
Clearly communicate usability analysis, recommendations, and potential design solutions
Create persuasive presentations geared towards product owners, developers, visual designers, other UX team members, and c-level executives
Facilitate internal meetings to triage/manage research findings
Previous experience with design or research projects involving complex workflows, visualization of large datasets, operating system-level tools, and both web and software environments is a plus.
Qualifications
Bachelor of Science or Master of Science in Human-Computer Interaction, Interaction Design, Human Factors, Cognitive Psychology, Cognitive Science, or related field
4+ years of experience applying research to highvolume, interactive B2B and B2C desktop applications, rich Web-based applications, or platform-level tools
Strong, analytical problem solving, decision-making, and leadership skills
In-depth understanding of user-centered design principles and tools
Familiarity with SharePoint
Familiarity performing studies in a fixed usability lab environment
Familiarity with data-logging tools and systems such as Morae or Camtasia
All your information will be kept confidential according to EEO guidelines.
