New Life Recovery & Counseling Center is actively seeking an experienced and compassionate Mental Health Counselor to join our team. You will have the opportunity to work in a flexible, remote setting while also having access to our outpatient office as needed. This ensures confidentiality and comfort for both clients and therapists. Our fully remote model allows counselors to work from the convenience of their homes or preferred locations while maintaining connectivity with colleagues for case consultations and support.

• Conduct thorough assessments to evaluate clients’ mental health needs and develop tailored treatment plans that reflect best practices and individual circumstances.
• Provide individual therapy sessions using evidence-based techniques such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), or other modalities suited to each client's needs.
• Engage collaboratively with clients to set realistic therapeutic goals and regularly assess their progress, adapting treatment plans as necessary to optimize outcomes.
• Offer teletherapy options to clients, ensuring accessibility for those who may prefer virtual sessions due to geographical or personal challenges.
• Ensure adherence to ethical and regulatory documentation standards by accurately recording session notes and treatment plans in our secure electronic health record system.
• Participate in regular peer supervision and consultation meetings to foster professional growth and stay aligned with advancements in therapeutic practices.

Our caseload encompasses a wide range of individuals, from those facing anxiety and depression to those dealing with trauma, relationship issues, and life transitions. Counselors at New Life work with diverse backgrounds, allowing for rich cultural insights that inform therapeutic approaches. The emphasis is on building a trusting relationship and a therapeutic alliance that enables clients to feel heard, understood, and empowered in their journey towards mental wellness.

• A current and valid state-issued license such as LMFT, LCSW, LPC, or PsyD.
• A master’s degree or doctoral degree in a relevant field such as Psychology, Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Mental Health Counseling.
• Demonstrated ability to cultivate a therapeutic relationship grounded in empathy, active listening, and respect for clients' experiences.
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills, allowing for effective caseload management and administrative responsibility.
• Proficient in using technology and digital platforms for telehealth sessions and maintaining compliance with regulations.

• Experience in working with diverse client populations and understanding the dynamics of cultural sensitivity in therapy.
• Previous experience in a private practice setting is a plus but not required.
• Familiarity with electronic health record systems and telehealth platforms enhances the efficiency of service delivery.

• Competitive salary range of USD 80,000 to 100,000 annually, influenced by your experience and caseload.
