What is a Remote Mobile Text Chat Operator?

A Remote Mobile Text Chat Operator is a professional who communicates with clients or customers through text-based platforms, such as SMS or in-app chat, usually from a remote location. Their primary duties often include answering questions, providing customer support, engaging in casual conversation, or moderating chat rooms. This role typically requires good typing skills, strong communication abilities, and the capacity to handle multiple conversations at once. Operators may work for customer service companies, entertainment platforms, or online communities. The work schedule is often flexible, allowing operators to work from home.

What are the key skills and qualifications needed to thrive as a Remote Mobile Text Chat Operator, and why are they important?

To excel as a Remote Mobile Text Chat Operator, you need strong written communication skills, fast and accurate typing abilities, and a high level of attention to detail, typically requiring a high school diploma or equivalent. Familiarity with chat platforms, CRM systems, and basic computer literacy are commonly expected. Exceptional customer service skills, professionalism, and the ability to multitask effectively make candidates stand out. These skills are crucial for providing timely, accurate, and engaging responses that ensure customer satisfaction and maintain the company's reputation.

What are some common challenges faced by Remote Mobile Text Chat Operators, and how can they be managed effectively?

Remote Mobile Text Chat Operators often encounter challenges such as maintaining high-quality conversations during repetitive tasks, managing multiple chats simultaneously, and ensuring timely responses while working independently. To manage these effectively, operators can develop strong time management skills, use organizational tools to track active conversations, and take regular breaks to avoid burnout. Additionally, staying engaged with team chats or support channels can help operators stay connected and seek guidance when needed.

This is your chance to join a cutting-edge team that isn't just watching the world change, but actively building the technology that is changing it.

We're a team that's focused on growth and innovation, and we're proud that our crew, products, and leadership are being recognized for it.

  • A Top-Tier Growth Company: Named one of the Financial Times' Fastest Growing Companies 2025 and #10 on the Inc. 5000 Rocky Mountain Regional list for 2025.
  • Innovative Leadership: Our CEO, Ryan Porter, was named an EY Entrepreneur of the Year 2025, and our CTO, Steve Lindsey, was inducted into the Silicon Slopes CTO Hall of Fame in 2024.
  • Product & Software Excellence: We were named one of The Software Report's Top 100 Software Companies of 2023 and are a winner of the Security Today Govies Award for 2025.
ABOUT THIS ROLE

As a Value Engineering Manager at LVT, you will build and scale a robust Value Engineering practice and engagement model across our Go-To-Market (GTM) organization. Operating as a critical individual contributor, you will design the frameworks, financial models, and value-selling methodologies that enable our Sales and Customer Success teams to lead sophisticated, executive-level business conversations. Your work will directly empower our revenue teams to articulate and quantify the strategic impact of LVT's intelligent site technology, driving enterprise adoption and expansion.

This role can be remote, with regular travel required (typically under 25%) to partner with account teams and interface with enterprise customers.

ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Build the Framework: Establish and operationalize a scalable Value Engineering practice and engagement model tailored for the GTM organization.
  • Develop Value Tooling: Design sophisticated ROI models, financial impact assessments, and TCO tools that clearly quantify the business impact of LVT's platform.
  • Drive Executive Alignments: Partner directly with account teams to co-lead value-based sales activities and guide critical financial conversations with C-suite decision-makers.
  • Standardize Execution: Ensure consistent execution of value-selling methodologies across regional teams, embedding value-led strategies into the full customer journey.
  • Enable the Field: Collaborate with Sales, Customer Success, Enablement, and Marketing to roll out value-selling best practices and deliver impactful training initiatives.
  • Support Retention & Expansion: Deliver strategic data and insights on value realization to senior leadership to help optimize client expansion and retention strategies.
  • Measure Success: Track and measure the impact of value engineering interventions on key metrics, including sales velocity, average deal size, and win rates.
OUR IDEAL CANDIDATE
  • Strategic Background: 5+ years of experience in Value Engineering, Management Consulting, Sales Strategy, or Business Strategy within a B2B enterprise technology environment.
  • Financial Acumen: Deep expertise in financial modeling, ROI calculation, business case development, and translating complex technical impact into economic value.
  • Executive Presence: Strong customer-facing skills and command presence, with a proven ability to lead engagements and build trust with executive stakeholders.
  • Methodology Builder: Demonstrated success in developing and scaling value engineering frameworks or structured sales motions across dynamic revenue teams.
  • Compelling Storyteller: Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to synthesize complex, technical, and analytical insights into simple, high-impact business narratives.
  • Collaborative Individual Contributor: A proactive builder who operates effectively across functional boundaries, influencing teams in Sales, Marketing, and Customer Success.
  • Adaptable & Mobile: Comfortable managing a dynamic schedule with a willingness to travel as required to support key accounts (typically under 25%).

COMPENSATION

The beginning annual salary range for this role is $171,000 - $229,000 USD and is determined by location, job-related experience, and education/training. Your total earning potential is amplified by a bonus structure tied to meeting goals, and you will become an owner from day one through our employee equity program.

BENEFITS

We believe you do your best work when your whole life is supported. We invest in our crew's health, families, and financial futures with a benefits package designed to support you inside and outside the office. Full-time benefits include, but not limited to: Comprehensive health, dental and vision coverage, retirement benefits (401k match up to 4%), and flexible PTO.
