Duties

You will serve as a Welder Leader and be responsible for .
Being a Coast Guard civilian makes you a valuable member of the Coast Guard team. Typical work assignments include:

• Removing and replacing interferences in way of welds, fitting brackets and machinery foundations and fitting minor structural braces, gussets or patches.
• Adjusting all welding controls to insure that qualified welding procedures are maintained.
• Articulating and communicating, to the team, assignments, projects, problems to be solved, actionable events, milestones, program issues under review, deadlines, and timeframes for completion.
• Identifying, distributing, and balancing workload and tasks among employees in accordance with established workflow, skill leave, and /or occupational specializations.

Qualifications
