Job description

Program Finance / Program Controls Analyst

We are seeking a detail-oriented Program Finance / Program Controls Analyst to support program financial performance, reporting, and compliance activities within a dynamic government contracting environment. This individual will partner with Program Management, Finance, Scheduling, and cross-functional teams to support Earned Value Management System (EVMS) processes, analyze program performance, and deliver accurate reporting to key stakeholders.

The ideal candidate will assist with the preparation of recurring program performance reports, conduct cost and schedule variance analyses, and help ensure compliance with contractual reporting requirements. This role also plays a key part in audit readiness efforts and supports the continuous improvement of program controls processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support Earned Value Management (EVM) activities, including performance measurement, variance analysis, and reporting.
  • Collaborate with program teams to monitor cost, schedule, and overall program performance.
  • Prepare and maintain financial, operational, and program performance reports for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Assist with the development and submission of contract performance data, executive summaries, and program narrative reports.
  • Ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial and program data across multiple systems and reporting tools.
  • Support internal and external audits by maintaining compliant documentation and reporting practices.
  • Enter, validate, and maintain data from source documents and financial systems.
  • Record financial transactions and account information to support accurate reporting and forecasting.
  • Investigate and resolve billing, reporting, or service-related discrepancies through cross-functional collaboration.
  • Provide guidance and support to team members on reporting, financial processes, and program controls best practices.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $40.00 - $45.00/hr.
