Cloud Security Analyst

We partner with the world's leading AI research teams and labs to build and train cutting-edge AI models. Right now, we're building datasets and evaluations focused on cloud security and modern infrastructure and we need practitioners who truly understand how cloud environments fail in the real world.

This is a unique opportunity to apply your hands-on cloud security knowledge to directly influence how the next generation of AI reasons about security incidents, misconfigurations, and risk.

Organization: Alignerr

Location: Remote

Commitment: 1040 hours/week

What You'll Do

  • Analyze real-world cloud security scenarios across AWS, GCP, and Azure to identify risks and failure patterns
  • Review and assess IAM, networking, storage, and container security issues
  • Classify security gaps, misconfigurations, and cloud-related failures based on real-world impact
  • Validate and improve AI-generated security reasoning so it accurately reflects how cloud incidents actually unfold
  • Help ensure AI systems reason correctly about blast radius, risk exposure, and business impact

Who You Are

  • 2+ years of hands-on experience working with cloud environments in production
  • Solid understanding of cloud IAM, networking, storage, and container security concepts
  • Familiarity with real-world misconfigurations and security incidents across major cloud providers
