Job description


As an Inside Sales Representative supporting Fiplex Communications, you will play a key role in accelerating growth across Strategic Accounts with a special focus on our new Cellular DAS solution. You will proactively identify, qualify, and nurture opportunities by following up on marketing campaigns, construction database leads, partner referrals, and targeted prospecting efforts with building owners, developers, general contractors, electrical contractors, system integrators, and enterprise customers.
You will report directly to our Director of Sales and work on a remote work schedule.
In this role, you will impact Fiplex's growth by building a strong front-end pipeline for Cellular DAS and in-building wireless opportunities, supporting Strategic Account Managers with account development, and helping customers understand how Fiplex solutions can improve in-building cellular coverage, public safety communications, and mission-critical connectivity in complex environments.
Responsibilities
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Proactively generate and qualify leads for Fiplex Cellular DAS and related in-building wireless solutions through outbound prospecting, marketing follow-up, construction database research, bid/project tracking, partner referrals, and strategic account campaigns.
  • Support Strategic Account Managers by identifying decision-makers, mapping account opportunities, scheduling discovery meetings, and maintaining consistent follow-up with prospects and customers.
  • Research target accounts, construction projects, building portfolios, and vertical markets to uncover opportunities where Cellular DAS, Public Safety DAS, BDA, passive DAS, battery backup, and related Fiplex solutions may be required.
  • Qualify opportunities by gathering project details such as building type, location, square footage, construction phase, carrier requirements, AHJ/code considerations, timeline, budget, stakeholders, and competitive landscape.
  • Partner with sales, marketing, applications engineering, channel partners, and customer service teams to route qualified opportunities, coordinate next steps, and ensure a smooth customer experience.
  • Use CRM tools to document prospecting activity, lead status, customer interactions, opportunity notes, next steps, and pipeline progress with accuracy and discipline.
  • Deliver introductory Fiplex and Cellular DAS value messaging to prospects, including positioning around safer buildings, stronger connectivity, scalable deployment, and support for strategic account growth.
  • Stay informed on market trends, construction activity, cellular coverage needs, public safety communication requirements, competitor activity, and Fiplex product developments to improve lead quality and conversion.

YOU MUST HAVE
  • Minimum of 3 to 5 years of experience in inside sales, lead generation, business development, account management, or sales support.
  • Experience prospecting, qualifying leads, and managing follow-up activity in a CRM environment.
  • Ability to communicate professionally with contractors, system integrators, building owners, developers, facility teams, enterprise customers, and internal stakeholders.
  • Strong organization, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple opportunities across different stages of the sales funnel.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and CRM tools.

SALARY RANGE
The annual base salary range for this position in California and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Connecticut, and Hawaii is <$58,200 - $72,800>. For Washington and most major metropolitan areas in New York & California, the annual base salary range is <$58,200 - $72,800>. Please note that this salary information serves as a general guideline. Fiplex solutions support safer, better-connected buildings by helping system integrators, building owners, enterprise customers, and Authorities Having Jurisdiction address demanding coverage, reliability, and compliance requirements.
THE BUSINESS UNIT
The Fiplex business focuses on in-building wireless infrastructure, including Cellular DAS, Public Safety DAS, BDA solutions, passive DAS components, battery backup, accessories, tools, services, and training. The new Cellular DAS solution expands Fiplex's ability to support Strategic Accounts that require stronger in-building mobile connectivity across commercial buildings, healthcare facilities, campuses, high-rise properties, industrial sites, transportation environments, entertainment venues, and other complex facilities. This role will help build the front-end pipeline needed to bring these solutions to more customers and partners.
