Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations of clients' mental health needs, establishing accurate diagnoses and tailored treatment plans to facilitate recovery.
• Maintain a manageable caseload of 25-30 client visits per week, providing consistent support and building therapeutic relationships.
• Deliver high-quality individual, family, and group therapy sessions, integrating evidence-based interventions that promote client achievement and goal exceedance.
• Accurately document session notes, treatment plans, and clinical assessments following company policy and best practices.
• Collaborate with case managers, medical professionals, and family members to coordinate comprehensive care for clients.
• Participate in professional development activities, including supervision and case consultation sessions.
• Utilize creativity in developing therapeutic strategies to address unique client needs and preferences.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your role will involve working with a diverse client base, including children, adolescents, couples, and families dealing with a variety of challenges such as relationship issues, trauma, anxiety, depression, and addiction. A commitment to cultural competency will be crucial as you navigate the complexities associated with different backgrounds and experiences, ensuring all clients feel understood and accepted.

Qualifications

• A Master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a closely related field is required.
• Current and active state license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) is mandatory.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills are essential for effective client interaction and documentation.
• Must demonstrate understanding and application of clinical boundaries in practice.
• Ability to pass a background check prior to employment.

Preferred Experience

• Experience working with a range of populations, including experience in family therapy, is highly desirable.
• Prior experience with mental health documentation systems and processes, such as treatment plans and clinical notes, is preferred.
• Familiarity with community resources and fee collection at the time of service enhances your ability to assist clients effectively.

Compensation and Benefits

• Competitive salary range of $90,000 to $110,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
