As a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, your responsibilities will include:

• Conducting thorough assessments and diagnosing mental health disorders in clients.
• Leading individual and couples therapy sessions utilizing evidence-based therapeutic techniques such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) or Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT).
• Developing personalized treatment plans tailored to the unique needs and goals of each client.
• Facilitating therapeutic interventions to address issues such as alcohol and substance abuse, grief, relationship conflicts, and adjustment difficulties related to separation or divorce.
• Collaborating with healthcare professionals and referring clients to specialists when necessary for comprehensive care.
• Maintaining accurate and confidential clinical documentation in compliance with relevant regulations.
• Staying informed and engaged with community resources and support services to enhance the treatment experience for clients.
• Participating in team meetings and case consultations to contribute to the overall treatment approach at the center.

The client population at Wellpower encompasses a wide range of ages and backgrounds. You will work with individuals and families facing challenges related to mental health disorders, including those dealing with depression, anxiety, grief, conflict resolution, and transitions in family dynamics such as blended families and divorce. To qualify for this role, candidates must possess:

• Current licensure as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in the state of Florida.
• A Master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a related field from an accredited institution.

• Strong interpersonal skills and a genuine passion for helping others overcome mental health challenges.

• Two or more years of clinical experience providing therapy to individuals and families.
• Experience with teletherapy and utilizing digital tools for patient engagement.
• Familiarity with treatment models addressing substance use disorders and trauma-informed care.
