Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to determine the mental and emotional well-being of clients, using both structured and unstructured methodologies.
• Evaluate individual client needs and develop tailored treatment plans using evidence-based practices.
• Facilitate individual therapy sessions addressing various mental health issues, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship challenges.
• Lead couples therapy sessions aimed at improving communication and resolving conflicts, providing a safe space for clients to express their concerns.
• Regularly monitor client progress by reviewing treatment plans and adjusting therapeutic strategies as necessary to ensure positive outcomes.
• Maintain meticulous and confidential client records, including thorough progress notes and case histories, while ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams and healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive and holistic care tailored to clients’ unique situations.
• Engage in crisis interventions when necessary, offering immediate support to clients experiencing acute distress.
• Stay abreast of the latest developments in marriage and family therapy to enhance your practice and the quality of care provided.
• Participate in professional development activities and training sessions aimed at expanding your clinical expertise.
• Uphold the ethical standards of practice, confidentiality, and legal compliance in all therapeutic interactions.
• Advocate for clients’ well-being by providing resources and empowering them to make informed decisions about their treatment.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will work with a diverse clientele, including teenagers, adults, couples, and families, each presenting unique challenges and therapeutic needs. Your expertise in marriage and family therapy will allow you to craft individual treatment plans that address relational dynamics, personal growth, and resilience. Qualifications

• A Master's Degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a related field is required.
• An active license as a Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) issued by the State Board is mandatory.
• Demonstrated proficiency in providing therapy to both individuals and couples.
• Experience working effectively with diverse populations, including children, adolescents, and adults.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with an ability to produce high-quality assessments and treatment plans.
• Familiarity with electronic health record systems and the ability to navigate digital documentation proficiently.

Preferred Experience
