• Conduct secure, confidential remote therapy sessions with individuals, couples, and families using advanced telehealth technology, ensuring a comfortable and safe virtual environment for all clients.
• Perform comprehensive assessments of clients to understand their unique relational dynamics, mental health issues, and family backgrounds, and develop tailored treatment plans with measurable goals that reflect their specific needs.
• Utilize evidence-based family systems therapy techniques and systemic interventions to navigate relationship dynamics, enhance communication, and reduce family stressors effectively.
• Provide immediate support and crisis intervention when necessary, ensuring clients' safety and well-being during challenging moments.
• Maintain accurate, confidential electronic documentation of client records, progress notes, and treatment plans, adhering to ethical and legal standards for mental health professionals.
• Educate clients on effective communication strategies, conflict resolution techniques, and coping mechanisms to enhance their relationships and mental health.
• Collaborate with a team of mental health professionals, participating in case reviews and sharing best practices to provide comprehensive care to clients.
• Engage in continuous professional development by staying informed on the latest research and advancements in marriage and family therapy, ensuring your approach aligns with current best practices.

You will support a diverse clientele, including individuals, couples, and families facing varying emotional and relational challenges. By offering tailored therapeutic interventions, you will work to empower clients in recognizing their strengths and fostering resilience. Your remote practice will enable you to reach clients across different geographic locations, expanding access to mental health support.

• A current license as a Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in New York State is required.
• A Master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a related mental health field is essential.
• At least two years of relevant clinical experience in marriage and family therapy is required, demonstrating your skills in understanding and addressing complex relational issues.

• Experience providing remote therapy services is preferred, but not mandatory; we value candidates willing to adapt to digital therapy methods.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills are crucial for establishing rapport with clients in a virtual setting.
