• Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate clients' mental and emotional states, shaping the foundation for tailored therapy sessions.

• Create and implement individualized treatment plans that address each client’s unique challenges and goals, utilizing evidence-based practices.

• Facilitate individual therapy for a wide range of issues, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship conflicts.

• Offer couples therapy sessions aimed at enhancing communication skills, conflict resolution, and mutual understanding.

• Regularly monitor client progress through ongoing assessments and adapt treatment plans as necessary to ensure the best outcomes.

• Maintain meticulous documentation of client interactions, treatment plans, and progress notes in compliance with legal and ethical guidelines.

• Engage in crisis intervention and provide immediate support to clients in distress, ensuring their safety and well-being.

• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to coordinate holistic care, adding depth to client treatment experiences.

• Stay updated with the latest advancements in marriage and family therapy practices to continually enhance service delivery.

• Participate in training sessions and workshops to further develop your skills and remain at the forefront of the therapeutic community.

• Advocate for clients’ rights, empowering them to take control of their treatment pathways and personal growth.

• Encourage and model healthy self-care practices, both for yourself and your clients, to foster resilience and prevent burnout.

Your caseload will include a diverse range of clients, from teenagers navigating adolescence to adults dealing with relationship issues or mental health disorders. Couples seeking to strengthen their bond will also be a key focus area. Our aim is to create a safe space for healing, understanding, and personal development, where each client can express themselves and participate actively in their treatment process.

• A Master’s Degree in Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or a closely related field.

• Active licensure as a Marriage and Family Therapist in California.

• Minimum of one year of experience providing therapy to individuals and couples.

• Proficiency in conducting assessments, developing treatment plans, and maintaining accurate documentation.

• Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to engage effectively with clients via electronic platforms.

• Experience working with a diverse array of populations, particularly children, adolescents, and couples.

• Familiarity with electronic health record systems to streamline documentation and care processes.

• A proven commitment to ethical practice and adherence to client confidentiality.

The salary for this position ranges from $90,000 to $105,000 per year, based on experience and qualifications.
