Job description

Title: Field Technician Location: Dairen IL Terms: Tuesday 5AM to 2PM and Friday 6AM to 2PM. (As needed Wednesday, 6AM to 2PM) Durations12 weeks Start: ASAP Pay Rate: $22/hr w-2 Education: Highschool/GED Requirements:
  • Drive company car standard automatic
  • Experience in fieldwork, logistics, or regulated industry preferred. Cannabis industry or compliance-related experience is a plus
  • Valid driver’s license with clean driving record. Ability to pass a background check in accordance with applicable laws.
Responsibilities:
  • Collecting cannabis samples from client locations— including cultivation facilities, dispensaries, and manufacturing sites—in compliance with all applicable state regulations and company SOPs.
  • Ensures that samples are collected, documented, and transported with the highest level of care and integrity.
  • Serve as professional representatives of the laboratory, providing excellent client service while maintaining strict chain-of-custody procedures and supporting the operational needs of the lab.
  • Maintain strict chain-of-custody documentation for all samples. Handle samples to prevent contamination, degradation, or loss of integrity.
  • Accurately record sample collection details using mobile data entry systems.
  • Provide professional, courteous service to clients and address basic sampling inquiries.
  • Proficient in mobile data entry and Microsoft Office Suite. Requirements Must meet the minimum legal age requirement to work with cannabis in the state of operation.
  • Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs., stand for extended periods, and work in various environmental conditions.
