Vitalize Metal and Wellness Center is actively seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW) to join our team. This full-time remote position will empower you to provide essential therapeutic services to a diverse clientele, including individuals, couples, families, and groups. The successful candidate will manage a varied caseload of clients facing an array of mental health challenges, facilitating their journey toward improved well-being through psychotherapy, assessment, and consultation.

This role offers a fully remote work setting, allowing you to provide services while enjoying the flexibility of working from home. The typical work schedule is from 9 AM to 6 PM, Monday to Friday, with no expectations for evening or weekend hours, providing an excellent work-life balance. • Conduct comprehensive assessments to determine the mental health needs of clients and develop personalized treatment plans accordingly.
• Maintain a caseload of clients, providing ongoing psychotherapy sessions tailored to their individual needs and goals.
• Implement behavioral health services while coordinating care among various providers, ensuring a holistic approach is taken.
• Serve as an integral member of our multidisciplinary primary care team, maintaining open and effective communication with all levels of staff and health center providers.
• Ensure compliance with mental health policies and procedures within the behavioral health program, contributing to high standards of care.
• Perform intakes and evaluations for clients promptly and courteously, with a focus on client comfort and engagement.
• Provide crisis intervention and therapeutic counseling, helping individuals navigate immediate emotional distress effectively.
• Facilitate referrals for clients requiring more intensive treatment options, including inpatient or specialized care.
• Oversee screening for prescription drug abuse, illicit drug use, and alcohol abuse to ensure comprehensive care.

• A Master’s degree in Social Work or Counseling from an accredited institution is required.
• Current and valid LICSW licensure to practice in Massachusetts.

• Proven ability to exercise mature judgment and crisis intervention techniques confidently.
• Exceptional oral and written communication skills to effectively convey therapeutic concepts and client progress.
• Ability to collaborate seamlessly within a team-based structure focused on integrated care delivery.
• Proficiency in using electronic health record systems for documentation and patient tracking is a must.
• A strong commitment to working with a culturally diverse population, promoting equity in the therapeutic process.

• Prior experience in a school or educational environment is preferred, given the unique demands and dynamics of working with young populations.
• Familiarity with evidence-based therapeutic interventions and methodologies will enhance your effectiveness in this role.
• Experience in providing telehealth services and using digital platforms for remote therapy sessions.
