Job Description:

ITW Medical, a division of ITW, is comprised of two highly respected brands- Coeur and Filtertek, supplying critical filtration and flow control solutions to global OEM’s, serving Surgical, Infusion, Bioprocessing and Diagnostic Imaging end markets.

GENERAL ACCOUNTABILITY:

This position will report to ITW Medical’s Global Sales Manager and be responsible for managing and growing the business across multiple medical device market segments as well as developing new business along these product lines. The position will focus on understanding assigned markets and improving overall market share. The individual will be expected to play a key role in developing profitable new programs with OEM customers and drive the respective segment strategies into the accounts.  The successful leader will meet with customers, assess and analyze their needs, understand pain points, drive development of differentiated solutions, and work with a team to effectively close sales.  Success also requires building confidence with current and prospective customers in engineering, quality and production capabilities.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBIITIES:

  • Consistently and predictably deliver sold business for future revenue growth in line with agreed upon growth targets
  • Understand ITW Medical’s value proposition and partner with key customers to deliver growth
  • Manage multiple customer stakeholders to position ITW Medical in joint product development projects
  • Develop customers/contacts in growth markets identified to enable continued growth for the business.
  • Develop a true trusted advisor relationship with key customers and leverage for growth
  • Accurately forecast product launches, ramp-ups, and associated revenues for Annual Plan by leveraging continued customer intimacy
  • Identify and develop market intelligence and expertise in key ITW Medical end-markets based on growth characteristics, competitive intensity, and other parameters
  • Monitor, study, and report on key market trends and make recommendations for growth
  • Understand ITW Medical’s addressable market and find growth opportunities
  • Develop deep expertise in our customers' end markets, sales strategies, and channels
  • Understand the broader ecosystem our customers operate in and strategically partner with key players, including but not limited to – Suppliers, global Contract Manufacturing Organizations, Contract Design Firms
  • Assists in developing and implementing strategic direction for ITW Medical Product Development teams.

QUALIFICATIONS/SKILLS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or similar field of study
  • Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience; preferably in Medical Device Industry selling t
  • Strong business analytical skills are a must and some product and or market management experience is a plus; Demonstrated understanding of financials including working knowledge of budgeting, sales, and capital funding for growth
  • Demonstrated ability to conduct research, identify strategic opportunities, and develop sound business strategy to convert on those opportunities
  • Experience with long term planning as well as a creative and visionary aptitude is a plus
  • Ability to work directly, and through teammates, to implement key strategies
  • Must be able to foster, communicate and exemplify the values of ITW; act with integrity and trust, operate with simplicity, treat everyone with respect, take shared risk.
  • Adapt and flourish in the shifting environment and circumstances of a new and growing business
  • Proficient computer skills - MS Office (PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Outlook, etc.)
  • Must be a team player with excellent interpersonal and relationship building skills
  • Excellent verbal, written, interpersonal, communication and presentation skills with experience in communicating and working with a remote team.
  • Proven time management, prioritization abilities and demonstrated strong project management skills.
  • Must possess decision making skills necessary to flourish in an ambiguous environment.

Compensation Information:

This compensation range is provided as a reasonable estimate of the current salary range for this role. Compensation depends on relevant experience and/or education, specific skills, market level, other job-related factors, geographic location, and other factors as applicable by law. As applicable this role will also receive overtime compensation and may be eligible for shift premium compensation.

Pay Range: $80,000-120,000 base salary plus up to 35% variable bonus

Vacation - up to 120 hours within first year

Sick - up to 40 hours of time within first year

Floating Holiday - up to 8 hours of time within first year
