Job description

Lawyers on Demand, a Consilio company is actively recruiting for a temporary, part-time, Trademark Paralegal for a remote position for a prestigious law firm client.

Start Date: ASAP

Hours: Initially ~10 hours/week, with potential to ramp up

Duration: Indefinite

Work Location: Remote

Position Overview

The experienced Trademark Paralegal will support ongoing trademark prosecution and portfolio management. Work includes docketing support, USPTO correspondence reporting, trademark portfolio reporting, and handling routine/non-substantive trademark tasks.

Responsibilities

  • Track, calendar, and report all deadlines to clients.
  • Monitor and report USPTO activity, including:
    • Filings
    • Notices of Allowance
    • Office Actions
    • General USPTO correspondence
  • Prepare trademark portfolio reports based on docket data.
  • Draft and file responses to non-substantive Office Actions and perform other routine trademark paralegal tasks aligned with prior experience.

Qualifications

  • Prior experience supporting U.S. trademark prosecution and portfolio maintenance.
  • Strong attention to detail and comfort managing deadline-driven workflows.
  • Ability to communicate clearly and consistently regarding status updates and upcoming deadlines.
  • AltLegal experience is a plus.
