• Conduct culturally sensitive and strength-based assessments for new patients and their families, ensuring they feel heard and understood during the initial stages of therapy.
• Provide individual and family therapy sessions that address identified needs, utilizing evidence-based interventions to foster emotional resilience and mental health stability.
• Complete essential documentation, including billing, individualized treatment plans, and insurance authorization forms, ensuring compliance with specified time frames and organizational policies.
• Develop and implement crisis management and safety plans tailored to individual patient needs, as well as relapse prevention and wellness plans that support long-term mental health maintenance.
• Create comprehensive discharge plans that reflect a collaborative approach to the patient’s ongoing care and support system.
• Adhere to all current federal and state laws and regulations, as well as internal policies to ensure the highest standard of care for all clients.
• Engage actively in professional development through training and continuing education, maintaining licensure to ensure up-to-date knowledge of best practices.
• Participate in case consultations and agency meetings to collaborate with other professionals, enhancing the support network for our clients.
• Complete all necessary licensure and mandatory training to ensure adherence to legal and ethical standards.

The patients you serve in this role will vary widely in demographics and mental health needs, including individuals and families grappling with a range of issues such as depression, anxiety, trauma, and relationship challenges. Your ability to provide tailored support with cultural sensitivity and strength-based approaches will be paramount to fostering a therapeutic alliance that promotes recovery and well-being.

• A master’s degree in social work, counseling, marriage and family therapy, or a related field is required to qualify for licensure.
• Current state licensure as a mental health therapist (LMHC, LMFT, LICSW) is mandatory, proving your expertise and enabling you to practice within the state regulations.

• Experience in remote therapy sessions or telehealth platforms is beneficial.
• Previous work in outpatient settings with diverse populations will enhance your effectiveness in this role.
• Familiarity with evidence-based therapeutic methods and treatment planning will be advantageous.
