As a Remote Mental Health Therapist, your key responsibilities will include:

• Conducting individualized therapy sessions via video chat, aiming to enhance clients' mental well-being.
• Encouraging open discussions about emotions and experiences to foster clients' self-awareness and relationship insights.
• Acting as an advocate for clients by assisting them in defining practical goals for their mental health journey.
• Evaluating clients’ mental conditions through comprehensive assessment methods and creating tailored treatment plans using your clinical knowledge and solution-based strategies.

The client base you will serve is composed of pre-screened individuals with stable mental health and low-acuity needs. The ideal candidate for this position will possess:

• A Master's degree in Social Work, Psychology, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Mental Health Counseling.
• An independent mental health license recognized by the state of California. Acceptable licenses include:
  • Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT)
  • Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC)
  • Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW)
• Proficiency in making informed professional evaluations and treatment decisions.
• Excellent interpersonal skills complemented by a compassionate nature.
• Strong comfort with technology, ensuring seamless interaction with clients through digital platforms.

While not mandatory, applicants with prior telehealth experience or those who have worked with diverse populations will be given preference. Expertise in specific therapeutic modalities may also be advantageous, allowing for a broader range of intervention strategies that benefit our clients.
