Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate clients’ mental and emotional well-being, helping to identify underlying issues and establishing a baseline for treatment.
  • Develop and implement personalized treatment plans collaboratively with clients, integrating evidence-based practices to address their unique needs and goals.
  • Facilitate individual therapy sessions for clients across the lifespan, addressing a diverse spectrum of mental health concerns from anxiety to depression and life transitions.
  • Lead couples therapy sessions with a focus on enhancing communication, resolving conflicts, and building stronger relationships.
  • Regularly review and adapt treatment plans to reflect clients’ progress and evolving needs, ensuring ongoing support and effective interventions.
  • Maintain meticulous client records, including progress notes and treatment plans, ensuring compliance with legal and ethical guidelines.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to deliver holistic care to clients, enhancing overall treatment outcomes.
  • Provide crisis intervention and support for clients experiencing acute distress, ensuring their safety and well-being during challenging times.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Qualifications
  • A Master’s Degree in Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or a related discipline is required.
