You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of professionals dedicated to supporting clients in various stages of their mental health journey. Our telehealth platform is user-friendly and designed to enhance client interactions while maintaining professional standards of care.

• Provide diverse therapeutic interventions tailored to clients’ needs, including individual counseling, family therapy, and crisis intervention through virtual sessions.
• Monitor and encourage medication adherence, including providing medication reminders and assisting clients in understanding their prescriptions.
• Facilitate transportation options for clients, including teaching them how to utilize public transit if needed, to ensure they maintain essential medical and therapeutic appointments.
• Ensure compliance with legal, regulatory, and contractual obligations in all counseling services, maintaining the highest standards of ethical and professional practice.
• Document all sessions accurately and in a timely manner, including client progress notes and treatment plans, to ensure continuity of care.
• Support clients in enhancing their daily living skills, such as shopping, meal planning, and enhancing personal independence.
• Conduct regular assessments of clients’ emotional states and report any significant changes that could affect their treatment.
• Engage collaboratively with team members to share insights about client progress and strategize treatment plans that facilitate achievement of their mental health goals.

You will work with a multicultural and diverse client population, providing services to individuals facing a broad spectrum of mental health issues, including anxiety, depression, trauma-related disorders, and adjustment difficulties. This role necessitates a sensitivity to cultural differences and an understanding of how those can affect mental health treatment and outcomes.

To succeed in this role, you will need:

• A Master’s degree in counseling, social work, or a related field.
• Valid licensure as an LCSW, LMFT, LPCC, or equivalent in the state of California.
• Proven proficiency in using digital communication tools and telehealth platforms, along with strong computer skills including Microsoft Office Suite.

While geriatric experience is preferred, it is not required. Candidates who thrive in fast-paced environments and have the ability to manage multiple cases effectively are encouraged to apply. Self-direction and the capability to work autonomously without constant supervision are vital for success in this role.
