The position is fully remote, allowing flexibility while working within a structured detox program. You will engage closely with our multidisciplinary team of healthcare providers, including nurses, therapists, and addiction counselors, enhancing collaborative efforts to address clients' mental health as they navigate their recovery journey.

• Conduct thorough mental health assessments for clients entering the detox program, taking into account their personal histories, presenting issues, and potential risk factors that may affect their recovery.
• Develop and implement personalized treatment plans in collaboration with clients, focusing on their emotional and psychological needs to facilitate successful integration into the recovery process.
• Provide evidence-based therapeutic techniques including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), and trauma-informed care to address a wide range of concerns arising during detox.
• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions that encourage personal development, emotional regulation, and the establishment of effective coping mechanisms.
• Work alongside psychiatrists and psychiatric nurse practitioners to ensure a cohesive care plan that integrates mental health and medical treatment.
• Create educational workshops focused on mental health awareness, coping strategies, and recovery skills to empower clients throughout their detoxification and recovery journey.

This role focuses on serving individuals undergoing detoxification from substances, including opioids, alcohol, and other drugs. You will support clients of diverse backgrounds who may experience co-occurring disorders, underscoring the complexity of their recovery needs. Your expertise as an LCSW will be vital in guiding these individuals towards holistic healing while also addressing underlying mental health issues.

• A Bachelor’s degree in social work or a related field; a Master’s degree is preferred.
• A valid Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) certification in the state of Nevada.
• Strong understanding of addiction and recovery principles, as well as related mental health disorders.
• Proficient in evidence-based therapeutic modalities relevant to substance use treatment.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a capacity for building rapport with clients and collaborating with various members of the healthcare team.

• Experience working in detox or residential treatment settings.
• Training in trauma-informed care and specific therapeutic techniques such as CBT or DBT.
• Experience with crisis intervention and de-escalation practices.
• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems and tools utilized for treatment documentation and client care management.
