• Conduct comprehensive assessments and evaluations to determine clients' therapeutic needs.
• Develop and implement personalized therapy strategies, utilizing evidence-based practices such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and solution-focused short therapy.
• Facilitate therapeutic sessions for individuals, couples, families, and groups, tailoring approaches to effectively address diverse mental health issues.
• Maintain accurate and confidential clinical records in compliance with legal and ethical standards, ensuring all documentation is timely and thorough.
• Participate in ongoing training and workshops to stay abreast of the latest advancements in mental health research and methodologies.

• Master's or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a related field.
• Active and unrestricted licensure as a Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of Connecticut.
• Minimum of two years of experience in counseling, particularly in a clinical setting.
• Strong knowledge of legal and ethical standards in mental health practice.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a proven ability to establish rapport with clients from diverse backgrounds.
• D demonstrated capability to collaborate effectively within a healthcare team.
• Familiarity with Electronic Medical Records (EMR) software and related technologies.

• Specialization in family therapy, couples therapy, trauma-informed care, or substance misuse counseling is highly preferred.
• Experience in conducting group therapy sessions and workshops focused on skill-building and coping strategies.

• Annual salary ranging from $70,000 to $90,000, commensurate with experience and caseload.
