Key Responsibilities

Patient Population / Client Focus

As a Mental Health Counselor at Serenity Wellness, you will work with a diverse patient population, ranging from children and adolescents to adults and families. Each client presents unique emotional challenges that may include depression, anxiety disorders, behavioral issues, trauma recovery, addiction, and relationship difficulties. Your ability to establish rapport quickly and empathize with clients will be crucial in fostering a safe space for healing and growth.

Qualifications
  • A Master's degree in Social Work, Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, Psychology, or a related field from an accredited institution.
  • Active licensure in Arizona as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT).
  • A minimum of three (3) years of professional experience working with clients facing mental health challenges.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills that enable effective communication and rapport-building with a wide range of clients.
Preferred Experience
  • Experience using electronic medical records (EMR) systems is preferred but not essential.
  • Previous work in outpatient settings or similar environments is highly advantageous.
