You will have access to electronic medical records (EMR) systems to document patient care efficiently and maintain organized treatment plans. • Conduct thorough intake assessments to identify client needs, establishing a strong foundation for effective treatment planning.
• Design personalized treatment plans based on individual client assessments, ensuring each plan is tailored to meet specific emotional and psychological goals.
• Facilitate engaging one-on-one and group therapy sessions addressing issues such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship challenges, utilizing evidence-based therapeutic techniques.
• Collaborate closely with fellow practitioners—including psychologists, psychiatrists, and other counselors—to devise a holistic approach to client care that fosters comprehensive support.
• Stay current on industry best practices and emerging trends by actively participating in professional development opportunities, enhancing both personal growth and the quality of care provided.
• Contribute insights and innovative ideas to improve service delivery and the overall effectiveness of our therapeutic programs.

As a Mental Health Counselor at Serenity Wellness, you will work with a diverse patient population, ranging from children and adolescents to adults and families. Each client presents unique emotional challenges that may include depression, anxiety disorders, behavioral issues, trauma recovery, addiction, and relationship difficulties. Your ability to establish rapport quickly and empathize with clients will be crucial in fostering a safe space for healing and growth.

• A Master's degree in Social Work, Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, Psychology, or a related field from an accredited institution.
• Active licensure in Arizona as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT).
• A minimum of three (3) years of professional experience working with clients facing mental health challenges.
• Exceptional interpersonal skills that enable effective communication and rapport-building with a wide range of clients.

• Experience using electronic medical records (EMR) systems is preferred but not essential.
• Previous work in outpatient settings or similar environments is highly advantageous.
• Knowledge of multi-cultural therapy practices and sensitivity to diverse client backgrounds.

• Annual salary in the range of $100,000 to $105,000, commensurate with caseload and experience.
