Oriented Mind Counseling is seeking a dedicated and experienced Licensed Mental Health Counselor to join our team in a full-time, remote capacity. As a fully remote position, you will have the flexibility to work from home while remaining an integral part of our collaborative team. Regular communication with colleagues and support staff is facilitated through virtual meetings and our practice management tools. The work schedule is structured from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, Monday through Friday, allowing for a balanced work-life dynamic.

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients' mental health needs, understanding their unique challenges related to trauma.
• Develop and implement tailored treatment plans that address individual patient concerns and promote effective coping strategies.
• Regularly assess and monitor patient progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary to reflect changes in patient needs.
• Provide educational resources and workshops for both patients and staff on effective coping mechanisms for stress and trauma.
• Coordinate with external agencies, healthcare providers, and community organizations to ensure holistic and continuous care for patients.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date electronic health records, documenting patient interactions and treatment outcomes.
• Engage in ongoing professional development to uphold certification standards and remain knowledgeable about current practices in mental health counseling.

The primary population served at Oriented Mind Counseling consists of individuals suffering from trauma-related injuries, which may manifest as anxiety, depression, PTSD, or other emotional difficulties. You will have the opportunity to work with a diverse client base, providing support to individuals at various stages of their recovery journeys. Your work will play a critical role in helping them develop effective coping strategies and improve their overall quality of life.

• A Master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling or a closely related field.
• Current and valid Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) credential.
• A minimum of three years of clinical experience, specifically working with trauma patients.
• Strong communication skills, enabling effective interactions with patients, families, and referral sources.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite; experience with Salesforce and electronic medical records (EMR) systems is a strong advantage.

• Demonstrated ability to develop and implement innovative treatment strategies tailored to the specific needs of trauma survivors.
• Experience in leading workshops or training sessions focused on trauma-informed care is preferred.
• Familiarity with remote counseling tools and telehealth practices.
