• Conduct comprehensive assessments and evaluations of clients' mental health needs, utilizing standardized diagnostic tools and interviews to inform treatment planning.
• Implement individualized therapy sessions utilizing various evidence-based modalities such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), and mindfulness practices to enhance client outcomes.
• Set and track therapeutic goals collaboratively with clients, regularly assessing progress during therapy sessions and adjusting treatment plans as necessary to optimize care.
• Provide teletherapy services to ensure that clients who have transportation or mobility challenges can easily access mental health support.
• Maintain meticulous and timely documentation on a shared practice management system, ensuring compliance with ethical and regulatory standards protecting client confidentiality.
• Participate actively in professional development through training sessions, webinars, and peer review meetings to continually refine clinical skills and adapt to emerging mental health trends.

As a Mental Health Therapist at Alta Med Medical Center, you will engage with a diverse client population experiencing a range of issues, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and other mental health disorders. • Current and valid licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Doctor of Psychology (PsyD) in the state of Arizona.
• A Bachelor’s degree in Social Work or a related field is required; a Master’s or Doctoral degree focused on Mental Health Counseling, Social Work, or Psychology is preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to build effective, trusting relationships with clients based on exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
• Exhibit a high level of empathy, compassion, and a non-judgmental attitude, essential for supporting individuals’ diverse experiences and mental health challenges.

• Experience in providing remote therapeutic services, with a proven ability to create a safe and productive online therapeutic environment.
• A solid background in working with clients from diverse backgrounds, particularly those facing socio-economic barriers and other disparities in mental health access.
• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems and telehealth platforms to streamline client interaction and documentation.
