You will be working within a well-established network of healthcare professionals, utilizing modern communication technologies to ensure seamless interactions. The role requires periodic engagement with other healthcare providers and department members to enhance comprehensive patient care.

• Conduct thorough assessments of patients to identify their mental health needs, utilizing the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders as necessary.

• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in collaboration with patients and their families, taking into account cultural diversity and specific patient needs.

• Continuously monitor and evaluate patient progress and adjust care strategies to enhance effectiveness and support the overall treatment objectives.

• Maintain accurate, timely, and organized treatment documentation, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and utilizing current technology in accordance with department guidelines.

• Facilitate coordinated efforts for referrals to external treatment providers, acting as a liaison to ensure optimal patient continuity of care.

• Deliver education and mentorship to students, interns, and team members, thereby fostering a collaborative learning environment.

• Engage in peer reviews and clinical audits under the guidance of your clinical supervisor to enhance team development and maintain high standards of practice.

You will primarily work with individuals and families affected by cancer diagnoses, providing outpatient therapy that supports mental health and overall wellbeing. Your role as a clinician involves addressing the emotional, psychological, and social challenges faced by this unique patient demographic, including coping strategies, adjustment disorders, and support for family dynamics.

• Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.

• Active and valid State License as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW).

• Experience in a clinical setting, particularly with cancer support or mental health.

• Familiarity with evidence-based practices and the ability to tailor approaches to meet the needs of diverse patients.

We offer a competitive salary range of USD 90,000 to 105,000 per year based on experience and qualifications.
