• Conduct thorough psychosocial assessments to evaluate clients' mental health status, emotional needs, and existing support systems.
• Deliver individual, family, and group therapy sessions utilizing evidence-based approaches such as cognitive-behavioral therapy, solution-focused therapy, and trauma-informed care.
• Collaborate with the treatment team to develop personalized treatment plans, ensuring each client's unique needs and goals are addressed.
• Facilitate group therapy sessions and support groups that provide emotional support and promote resilience among clients and their families.
• Provide crisis intervention, risk assessment, and safety planning when necessary, especially in response to urgent client needs.
• Document all therapeutic interventions and assessments meticulously, adhering to ethical and legal standards while ensuring compliance with hospice regulations.
• Engage in ongoing professional development through continuing education opportunities to maintain high-quality care standards.

In this role, you will primarily be serving individuals who are facing terminal diagnoses and their families. This patient population requires a specialized approach that integrates mental health support with palliative care. You will play a crucial role in addressing emotional distress, grief, and the psychosocial implications of terminal illness, helping clients find peace and meaning in their experiences.

• A Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.
• Active state licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in Nevada.
• A minimum of two years’ experience in a mental health or outpatient setting, preferably in hospice or palliative care environments.

• Strong proficiency in evidence-based therapeutic modalities and approaches tailored for clients facing end-of-life issues.
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills to effectively engage with clients and their families.
• Experience in a remote work setting, utilizing telehealth tools to provide quality mental health services.
