  • Read schematics and datasheets and troubleshoot hardware-to-firmware interfaces
  • Lead firmware activities for assigned products and coordinate with cross-functional teams
  • Develop firmware specifications, test procedures, and production documentation
  • Perform firmware verification, validation, debugging, and root-cause analysis
  • Support hardware bring-up, prototypes, product compliance, manufacturing, and production launch
  • Define test methods, tuning procedures, and production test fixtures
  • Improve firmware development, source control, automated builds, and engineering processes

Qualifications:
  • U.S. Citizenship is required by Federal Law
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, or a related engineering discipline
  • 5+ years of embedded firmware and electronic product-development experience
  • Strong C/C++ programming skills
  • Experience with DSPs, microcontrollers, FPGAs, or audio codecs
  • Experience with PCB-based hardware and embedded communication interfaces
  • Ability to read schematics, interpret datasheets, and troubleshoot electronic systems
  • Experience with firmware testing, validation, production support, and technical documentation
  • Working knowledge of version control systems
  • Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills
  • Ability to work independently and within a small cross-functional team

Preferred Qualifications:
  • DSP-based audio processing or I2S experience
  • Low-power or battery-powered embedded systems
  • RF or wireless communication products
  • Texas Instruments Code Composer Studio
  • Automated build scripts or batch files
  • TCP/IP or connected embedded products
  • FPGA or programmable-fabric specifications
  • FCC, UL, European, or other product-compliance testing
  • Experience with consumer electronics, communications equipment, automotive electronics, industrial products, or similar embedded systems
