Job description

Job Title: Credit / Customer Services Representative Location: Harrisburg, PA Type: Contract (4 months to potential hire) Compensation: $22.00 per hour Work Model: Hybrid Onsite once per month Hours: 40.0

Responsibilities

  • Manage the credit and collection maintenance of a prescribed territory of customer receivables.
  • Manage the territory within prescribed goals with high efficiency and professionalism.
  • Collect invoices, chargebacks, and resolve customer issues effectively.
  • Review and approve orders in accordance with company Credit policy and individual goals.
  • Maintain assigned customer accounts, adhering to company policies on open balance, aging, order approval, and issue resolution.
  • Review and approve orders promptly within company guidelines.
  • Collect past due invoices and follow up with customers as needed.
  • Resolve non-research related customer issues, identify root causes, and prevent recurrence.
  • Analyze large volumes of data accurately and with attention to detail.
  • Communicate professionally with co-workers and customers.
  • Follow company policies, including attendance requirements.
  • Keep work area neat, clean, and hazard-free.
  • Cross-train and perform workload-related duties in other areas as needed.

Requirements

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office products (Excel, Word, Outlook, Internet Explorer).
  • Ability to learn and utilize various job-specific software applications.
  • High School or Associates Degree with emphasis on business or accounting, or equivalent experience.
  • Four-year degree in business preferred.
  • Ability to work full-time (40 hours per week), including overtime, weekends, holidays, and trainings as required.
  • Ability to work in a hybrid schedule, combining remote and on-site work as required.
