Your work schedule will be Monday through Friday, from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., allowing for a balanced work-life routine.

• Conduct thorough evaluations of mental health diagnoses and develop comprehensive treatment plans tailored to each client’s unique needs.
• Maintain a caseload of 25-30 clients per week, ensuring effective time management and client engagement strategies. This includes preparing for sessions, documenting progress, and adjusting treatment plans as necessary.
• Deliver exceptional customer service, actively collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to enhance service delivery and community outreach initiatives.
• Employ creative therapeutic interventions that motivate clients and facilitate their path toward achieving therapeutic goals.
• Complete all required documentation accurately and timely, including individual session notes, treatment plan updates, and any needed assessments as per company standards.
• Coordinate care and services with various stakeholders, including case managers, families, medical personnel, and educational staff to provide holistic support to clients.

As an LMFT at Mental Health Shield Psychological Services, you will work with a diverse client base, including children, adolescents, couples, and families. Understanding the unique dynamics and challenges faced by these different groups is crucial as you tailor therapeutic approaches accordingly. Your expertise will directly impact clients seeking help with issues ranging from relational conflicts and mental health disorders to family dynamics and adolescent challenges.

• A Master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy is required.
• Must hold an active and unrestricted state license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist.
• Strong foundation in family therapy practices, community resources, and comfort in managing fee collections at the time of service.
• Proven experience in delivering mental health documentation, including treatment plans and clinical case notes.
• Demonstrated ability to work with a wide range of clients, including children, adolescents, couples, and families.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills are essential for maintaining clear interactions with clients and team members.
• Ability to maintain professional boundaries and demonstrate a model of stability for clients is essential.
• Willingness and ability to pass a thorough background check.

• Previous experience in a telehealth setting or familiarity with virtual therapy modalities would be beneficial, given the emphasis on remote services.
• Keen understanding of systemic family dynamics and the role they play in individual mental health.
• Experience in outreach and community engagement to support mental health initiatives.
