As an LCSW at Clear Sky Family & Marriage Counseling PC, you will:

• Evaluate and diagnose a diverse range of psychosocial issues, employing your clinical skills to assist patients and their families in navigating challenges associated with mental or physical illnesses.
• Conduct thorough bio-psychosocial assessments to identify barriers to treatment, enhance patient wellbeing, and effectively utilize available resources.
• Develop individualized treatment plans that incorporate evidence-based interventions, analyze therapeutic progress, and adapt strategies to optimize patient outcomes.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive treatment approaches and enhance patient compliance and satisfaction.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of social work interventions in patients’ medical records, adhering to departmental standards and legal requirements.
• Educate patients and families on medical and social work recommendations, promoting understanding and compliance to foster optimal functionality.
• Coordinate advocacy efforts to identify and enhance community support and resources tailored to the needs of our patients and their families.
• Engage in continuous professional development to stay updated with current best practices in clinical social work and community resources.

Your work will primarily focus on individuals and families encountering mental health challenges, including those related to chronic illness, emotional trauma, and psychosocial distress. You will be instrumental in improving access to mental health services, particularly within the Westminster, Maryland community, ensuring that every patient receives tailored care responsive to their unique backgrounds and circumstances.

To qualify for this position, you must have:

• A Master’s Degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.
• A current state license as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW).
• A solid understanding of ethical practices in social work, guided by the NASW Code of Ethics.
• Proficient analytical and therapeutic skills for patient evaluation and treatment planning.

While not mandatory, the following experiences are highly desirable:

• A clinical background of six months to one year in health or mental health settings, preferably working with diverse populations.
