• Conduct comprehensive evaluations for new clients to understand their unique needs, identifying areas of concern that will inform the creation of individualized treatment plans.
• Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions, employing evidence-based therapeutic techniques such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) to help clients manage their conditions.
• Provide specialized therapeutic support to clients diagnosed with PTSD, helping them navigate their struggles and develop effective coping strategies.
• Oversee case management responsibilities, coordinating additional services and referrals to ensure that all client needs are met in a timely manner.
• Maintain meticulous documentation of therapy sessions and treatment progress while adhering to confidentiality and ethical standards, utilizing ICD-9 coding guidelines.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of health professionals, including psychiatrists and social workers, to refine treatment approaches and ensure comprehensive care for clients.
• Engage families in counseling sessions that foster understanding, communication, and healthier dynamics within the family unit.

This role primarily focuses on adults and adolescents experiencing mental health challenges, including PTSD, depression, anxiety, and relationship issues. Your work will be vital in supporting these clients as they navigate their challenges, promoting healing and personal growth. Champions Recovery emphasizes a strengths-based approach, encouraging clients to identify and build upon their resources in the therapeutic process.

• A Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a closely related field.
• Current and valid LMFT license issued by the California Board of Behavioral Sciences.
• A minimum of 2 years of experience working in clinical settings is required, demonstrating your ability to provide effective therapeutic interventions.
• Familiarity with various therapeutic modalities, particularly CBT and ABA, to address a wide range of mental health issues.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, enabling you to foster trusting relationships with clients and collaborate effectively with team members.

• Experience providing therapy in a telehealth setting, adaptable to virtual communication with clients.
• Background in case management and the ability to navigate community resources effectively.

• Annual salary ranging from $110,000 to $130,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
