Key Responsibilities
  • Evaluate and diagnose a wide range of psychosocial problems using individual clinical social work skills, assisting patients and families in overcoming personal and environmental challenges attributed to mental and physical illness.
  • Adhere to professional standards of social work practice according to the NASW Code of Ethics, ensuring ethical considerations are integrated into every aspect of care.
  • Conduct comprehensive bio-psychosocial evaluations to identify barriers to treatment, thereby optimizing patient discharge planning and enhancing overall health outcomes.
  • Collaborate with medical and support staff to provide comprehensive care, sharing insights on patients' psychosocial functioning and advocacy needs to facilitate effective treatment programs.
