• Provide psychoeducation on perinatal mental health, ensuring clients receive reliable information and support tailored to their needs.
• Conduct psychosocial assessments and collaboratively develop individualized treatment plans, maintaining accurate and timely records of client progress.
• Implement treatment plans under clinical supervision, ensuring adherence to relevant regulations and best practices within mental health care.
• Establish and maintain contact with potential community referral sources, enhancing outreach and generating intake referrals to broaden our impact.
• Facilitate and lead group sessions for clients, fostering a sense of community and shared experiences to enhance therapeutic outcomes.
• Participate in ongoing training sessions and staff meetings to stay updated on practices and policies, ensuring compliance with JCAHO and Medicaid standards.
• Maintain confidentiality and adhere to the Code of Ethics set by the United States Psychiatric Rehabilitation Association.
• Actively collaborate with volunteers and interns to cultivate an inclusive environment that meets the diverse needs of our clients.
• Support clients in accessing additional social services as necessary, maintaining connections with local agencies for comprehensive care.

Our counselors work predominantly with clients facing various mental health challenges, including anxiety, depression, and perinatal mental health issues. You will be integral in addressing the psychological aspects of wellness for clients seeking support, ensuring they receive compassionate and knowledgeable care in their healing journeys.

• Master's degree in Psychology, Counseling, Social Work, or a closely related field is required.
• Current license as a mental health counselor in Washington State (LMHC, LMFT, or LICSW) is mandatory.
• Proven ability to effectively coordinate care with a multidisciplinary team in an outpatient mental health setting.
• Superior communication skills, enabling effective collaboration and advocacy for clients' needs.
• No history of medical malpractice claims, to be verified by a third-party background check.
• Authorization to work in the U.S.

• Experience providing mental health services, particularly in a perinatal context, is advantageous.
• Familiarity with JCAHO, Medicaid, and DBH standards that guide mental health practice.
• Background in conducting group therapy sessions and leading community outreach initiatives.
