• You will evaluate, diagnose, and treat a range of psychosocial problems that hinder patients and their families from achieving optimal functioning.
• As a member of a collaborative team, you will apply evidence-based practices to provide individualized outpatient therapy sessions, both individually and in group settings.
• Conduct thorough bio-psychosocial evaluations to identify barriers to treatment and enhance your patients' health outcomes.
• Prepare comprehensive treatment plans and facilitate clinical interventions, ensuring documentation meets departmental standards.
• Provide education and support to patients, helping them understand and adhere to treatment recommendations.
• Engage in patient advocacy efforts, coordinating with community resources to enhance social support systems.
• Document social work activities and patient interactions within medical records accurately and timely.
• Continue to enhance your professional skills through ongoing education and training opportunities relevant to your clinical responsibilities.

This role primarily focuses on patients dealing with substance use disorders, including both adults and adolescents. You will encounter a diverse range of cultural backgrounds and varying degrees of psychosocial challenges, allowing you to employ a comprehensive and compassionate approach to each individual’s care. Your expertise in understanding developmental stages and social patterns will enhance the therapeutic relationship and improve patient outcomes.

• Master’s Degree in Social Work from an accredited institution and possession of an active LCSW license in the state of Texas.
• Strong understanding of the NASW Code of Ethics and demonstrated ability to apply ethical principles within clinical practice.
• Proficient analytical skills for evaluating patient needs and developing effective treatment strategies.

• At least 6 months to 1 year of clinical experience in health or mental health settings, preferably with populations similar to those served at our detox center.
• 1+ years of relevant behavioral health experience in providing treatment for children, adolescents, and adults is highly preferred.
• Familiarity with community resources and advocacy practices relevant to social work.

The salary for this position ranges from USD 85,000 to 100,000 annually, commensurate with experience and education. We also offer a sign-on bonus to welcome you to our dedicated team.
