• Serve as a clinical practitioner, working both with individuals in private sessions and in community settings to deliver interventions tailored to clients experiencing symptoms of major mental illnesses or severe emotional disorders.
• Actively participate as a cohesive team member, contributing to shared goals and enhancing collaboration across all departments to ensure the highest standard of care.
• Respectfully engage with clients from diverse cultural backgrounds, considering their unique traditions, belief systems, and interpersonal styles to provide individualized care.
• Effectively navigate organizational structures, maintaining compliance with ethical guidelines and the code of conduct established by the Tides Clinical Association.
• Continuously enhance personal competencies and teamwork dynamics to improve service delivery and drive better client outcomes through empowerment and informed choice.
• Conduct comprehensive assessments, utilizing evidence-based screening tools, and facilitate deeper evaluations as necessary to inform treatment plans.
• Develop, implement, and monitor integrated care plans that connect clients with necessary services, ensuring thorough communication among clients, families, and service providers.
• Deliver focused prevention, treatment, and recovery interventions through individual, group, and family therapies that are responsive to the evolving needs of clients.
• Assist in crisis intervention efforts, providing timely support and ensuring safe environments for all clients during emergencies.
• Manage a caseload of clients, ensuring timely documentation and completion of reports to meet organizational and regulatory requirements.
• Participate in on-call responsibilities outside of regular program hours, ensuring continuous support for clients when needed.
• Engage in continuous quality improvement initiatives and committee work aimed at enhancing agency service delivery.

This position will involve working predominantly with clients who are part of vulnerable populations, including individuals facing economic hardships, mental health challenges, and barriers to accessing care. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a deep understanding of these clients' unique needs and a commitment to advocating for their rights and well-being.

• A Master's Degree in Social Work (MSW) or a related field is required, emphasizing the importance of a strong academic foundation in clinical practice.
• Current licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in Connecticut is mandatory for the role.
• A minimum of two years of clinical experience is preferred, demonstrating hands-on involvement with diverse client populations.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills are essential to effectively engage clients and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.
• Proficiency in organizational skills and planning is crucial for managing a varied caseload effectively.
